The phone, instead of using a gyro to correct vibration, is using camera data, analyzing the image, and re-positioning the picture to produce a smoother image.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;that's why, when you slide screens on the tablet, the phone thinks you're panning and tries to keep the screen still, while the frame of the tablet and the background move.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There seems to be a big push to develop simpler applications across the board that if it sticks long term I think we'll see better results. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Luke Wroblewski has a great book on designing applications/websites for mobile devices first in which he stresses the importance of focusing only the core feature when designing for mobile devices and how that eventually transpires to the desktop app/web as companies find that they could also simplify their full app/web site. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Luke W. also makes a great point indicating that we shouldn't &amp;quot;dumb things down&amp;quot; but rather &amp;quot;focus on what really matters most anywhere people can access your site.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
